Controls. Sonar, Electronical navigational system, Ekkosounder, Autopilot, VHF, Gyrocompass, two Radars and of course stereo equipment. This is what the mate overlooks. |

Iridium
satellitetelephone and local weather station connected to the computer.
Internal/external phone system, connected to NMT and GSM telephone system. The Iridium can be used to download e-mails everywhere, but preferably the GSM connection is used when the ship is close to cities due to heavy satellite prices. |

HF and fax. KISAQ is also equipped with a short wave transmitter/receiver and a fax machine. |

Life rafts. For emergency situations, KISAQ dispose of two life rafts, each qualified for 25 persons. |

Dinghies. As MOB - (Man Over Board) and landing boat, KISAQ uses a rubber dinghy. Kisaq also disposes of a rubber dinghy with fiberglass-bottom.

Life suits. Perhaps the most important safety device on board is the life suit. This watertight and insulating suit can keep you warm for 48 hours in arctic seas. Kisaq carries 20 life suits. In addition KISAQ dispose of 40 regular life vests, four lifebuoys and a life net. |
